Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
Prepare the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Season the Salmon:
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Make the Parmesan Herb Crust:
- In a bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, parsley, and dried basil.
- Drizzle in the melted butter and lemon juice, mixing until the crumbs are evenly coated.
Coat the Salmon:
- Press the Parmesan herb mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet, covering evenly.
Bake:
- Place the salmon in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
Serve:
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately with a side of your choice, such as vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
